Piece of Cake

Rachel came over and showed us how to use fondant with cakes! It was so much fun and we learned so many cool things! Thanks to Rachel for a wonderful evening.

Some of us had a little too much fun! ...didn't quite make it through the night.

Candy Making!

Wednesday was candy making night with Annie! It was super fun and super tasty. We make toffee and truffles...and it was awesome. Fun, easy, delicious, what more can you ask for? Annie did a great job demonstrating her candy recipes, it was like being a part of a cooking show on TV.


Even I, sugar intolerant, non desert cooking, individual couldn't stop licking my fingers and now have hope that I might be able to actually make something sweet and tasty! It was so fun to have everyone that came there...yummy candy and good company who could ask for anything more?

Hooks, Yarn and Fun Times

We did some crocheting Wednesday night! Some of us brought existing projects and some of us were there to learn for the first time. My sister Airie came over and taught us double and single crochet and we had fun figuring it out. Thank you to Airie for taking the time to teach us and also thank you to Sage for getting bread from The Great Harvest Bread Co. for snackies...it was so tasty.

Airie was a very patient teacher...this was like the 4th time she's taught me how to do this...thanks for sharing your talents sis!

Annie and Rachel did such a good job figuring things out they were already on to the fancy stuff by the end.

My first meager attempt...it's turning into a very fat scarf, if only you could see my face...it looked a lot like Leslie's that you see here ;) ....
